Read Across America Week
This week we will be celebrating Read Across America Week here at WBS. Our students will be involved in many fun and engaging activities centered around literacy. Our teachers will be visiting classrooms and sharing their favorite stories with our students, we will be creating a school wide mural, and students will be reading stories with their buddy classrooms. Our goal for the week is to encourage a love of reading and to expose our students to varied genres of literature. I encourage you to ask you child about these activities this week. What is your favorite book from your childhood? Try sharing your own love of reading with your child this week in celebration of Read Across America Week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hadfield, Principal
