Eclipse
Greetings from WBS!
As a follow up to the parent email you received from our district, I would like to update you about our plans for today. We will conduct business as usual for most of the day today. Students will be outside today during their regularly scheduled recess times. Additionally, our AMAZING Home and School group has purchased eclipse viewing glasses for the entire school so that we can safely view the eclipse when it happens.
Please know that you are welcome to come and pick up your child early if this is something you would like to experience as a family. If you are picking up your child early, please arrive no later than 2:30 PM to ensure a smooth transition. We will begin car rider line today promptly at 3:12. Please call the school at 215-723-1711 if you have questions or need to schedule an early dismissal.

**Reminder ALL 5th Grade students receive a FREE yearbook compliments of the WB Home & School**
If you wish to volunteer in our ​school or at school events such as ​field trips, classroom socials, and ​other happenings, click here for ​more information and clearance ​forms.
When: April 15, 16 & 17th 6:00-8:00 (Painting starts promptly at 6:00)
Where: WBS Art Room
**Park in the teacher lot and enter through the Art Room door.**
Cost: $48.00 – includes 2 canvases, paint, brushes, instruction AND Pizza Party!

This is a VERY popular event - seats fill up FAST. We can accommodate 30 people (15 kids & 15 parents) each night.

Important Information
If your child is absent, please report the absence before 8:30 AM. Absences can be reported via phone or e-mail.
To report an absence via phone, please call 215-723-1711 and press 3 for the attendance office.
To report an absence via e-mail, send a message to attendWBS@soudertonsd.org.
An automated SchoolMessenger call will be made to the parent/guardian of a student who is marked absent.
Please e-mail all parental excuse notes for absences (Absence/Tardiness Excuse Form: English | Spanish | Vietnamese) to the following e-mail: attendWBS@soudertonsd.org
All excuse notes must be received by the third day following a student return from the absence or the absence will be coded unexcused/unlawful.
If student incurs six unlawful absences, it will result in truancy
